A fog layer that seems to caress the tree line on a hilly ridge just beyond. The camera moves to
the right on a dolly over the foreground ledge. A fog bank is contained by the ridge line half a
mile away, which extends across the frame. The stratus layer flows over the ridge line slightly,
while the sky-blue ceiling in the top quarter of the frame is unbroken by any clouds.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
11 seconds and 14 frames.
…some fair-weather clouds in the midday blue sky. The shadows of sand dunes slowly creep
longer on the sand. The ocean stretches away into the distance to the right. European
beach-grass was introduced in the early 20th century- but its spread poses changes to the
dune’s existence themselves. Its ability to live in sand is a double-edged sword for the local
ecology. A largely cloudy Cirrus sky in the top third of the frame moves inland towards the
right of the frame, but it has not yet fully shaded the foreground and beach beyond until late
in the clip.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
15 seconds and 5 frames.
… late afternoon cast shadows on the sparing water beneath. A very strong and stochastic wind
moves the surface of the water below on Crater Lake, which covers roughly half the frame. Wizard
Hat Island is seen near top-right. Visibility is good if not for heavy lower clouds passing
overhead, with the sun peeking through to light up the foreground. .
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
15 seconds and 24 frames.
The continuation of another clip.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
17 seconds and 22 frames.
An original, recently remastered time-lapse of the sky with clouds.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
14 seconds.
The lake caldera spans the frame, with Wizard Hat Island in the upper-right of the frame. The
snow on the north facing slopes make the right-side of the frame a winter landscape around the
water. The lake itself has many different breezes playing on its surface, owing to the shape of
the rim that encircles it. Rocky cliffs frame the lower left and right, with smaller junipers
and other species of trees.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
12 seconds and 5 frames.
