Facing east at sunset on a mountain landscape, the fog appears to very slowly roil on the foot of the
mountain in a lack of wind, and the camera moves perceptively on a dolly leftwards. The sky comprises
a quarter of the frame and is a spectrum of reds to blues, brightening towards the right of the
frame. The mountainous butte on the left of the frame is snow covered.

A fog layer that seems to caress the tree line on a hilly ridge just beyond. The camera moves to the
right on a dolly over the foreground ledge. A fog bank is contained by the ridge line half a mile away,
which extends across the frame. The stratus layer flows over the ridge line slightly, while the
sky-blue ceiling in the top quarter of the frame is unbroken by any clouds.

The partially mined-out north face of Mt Bohemia is displayed in the dusk light, behind a foreground of
verdant shrubs with small flowers. Snow is laden in shadow on its scree (broken rocks) areas. The fog
slowly laps on the foot of the mountain in the dusk light. The camera moves slowly on a dolly towards
the left.

orographically-influenced Cumulus clouds just below, with vapor beginning to pile onto the steep

been moved). The clouds float over Pike’s Peak, a mountain that is high above the stratus fog below,
transforming rapidly. The mountain, a combination of smooth and jagged slopes, careens downward
(right). The stratus far below shifts on otherwise low wind. The vista is wide and vast, and the sky is
blue with exception of the white Cirrostratus layer and aforementioned Cumulus that plays at point of
view-level.

Pines and other conifers are framing the sky on all sides of the scene in the early morning above Lake
Tahoe, which is surrounded by a forest, and blanketed partially with a fog layer. The sky quickly
brightens as high clouds and an airplane contrail turn all the colors of sunrise. The ground is snowy.
