    … vapor condensed on peaks of Grand Tetons in the morning. low-level clouds on the tops of the Grand Teton mountain range in Wyoming. The frame digitally pans to the right to show the peaks in the clouds, which are riding on an orographic effect this morning. The lower half displays the rolling hills and autumn Aspens as well as evergreen conifer trees. With moose, elk, wolves and buffalo roaming this wild area, people are fewer and farther between. A road paves through the lower-right with only a stray vehicle briefly observable.

    Precipitation that evaporates in the dryer air that it falls into is called Virga. These low-level fluffy and convective, as well as stratus clouds, are shown with camera facing northeast, away from the direction of the sunset. Pleasant meadows and hills underline the pink and transforming clouds, with the Virga appearing more stationary.
