create crepuscular (afternoon) rays from humidity and shadows. The light shines on some of the
slopes. The mountains comprise nine-tenths of the frame.

The sky, three-quarters of the frame, is full of stars, and the high foothills that comprise the
start of the southern tip of Sierra Nevada build towards the right side. Light pollution in the
bottom left of the frame lights some thin clouds, which move slowly against the spin of the
planet.

In the late afternoon, just before sunset, the sun has moved below the mountains. On the peaks, some
clouds are created by the high winds and pour over the top of the frame. The foreground is a unique
desert landscape of stone and decomposed granite.

Fog catches the sun and the shadows of the tall trees cast shadows on the glow. The hillside is steep
and falls away from the left frame, covered in ferns and vegetation, which slowly move on the breeze.
The fog slowly falls away, taking the sunbeams with it.

Approximately half the frame is shadowed in a mountain’s shade, with desert plants in the foreground
meadow. The clouds flow off the ridge, and every air current can be seen on the outer edges of these
clouds, which run aground on the top-left of the frame, billowing, and crawling.

… also glow and shifts with the sun’s movement. A six second interval is used. Floridian trees are
silhouetted from afar, slash pines and others, dense trees under ninety five percent sky. Where the
humid air is glowed upon and the shadows, made from thicker patches of cloud obstructing the glow of
the light, changes as the sun moves downward.

… landscape below with Sierra Nevada range. On the Inyo range east of the Sierra Nevada, one sees
deep into the range to the west, countless peaks spanning north-south. A few at right are under
stratus clouds, but the large majority are Cirrus fibratus, dense enough to shade the landscape as
they pass over the snowy Bristlecone pine-filled hillsides and slopes, which are some of the oldest
trees.

On rain, light rays are carved by the shade of the clouds which the sun is also illuminating vividly.
Anvil top glow gold momentarily as the frame pans up to the setting where clouds speed by at multiple
levels and pink plays on the highest, intricate details of the undersides of clouds- momentarily.
