A bright marine fog layer slowly evaporates around the Golden Gate Bridge, a small ship is seen
exiting as the fog recedes. The Marin Headlights are exposed to day in the middle ground between this
point of view and the bay.

A fog manages to cling to visibility moving into the bay, especially on the left of the frame, and
shadows rise from the headlands on the hills. A cargo ship is seen mid-way through the clip exiting
the bay. The city is fully visible in the distant left.

What makes these scudding lower clouds so bright? Lights from nearby Walnut Creek impose their light
from below on them, incandescent and brightest where the city itself is. The brightened clouds
silhouette the trees of the hillside, as airplanes pass overhead rapidly. The sky has stars, and
their number pales in comparison to the city lights in the landscape below on the lower-right of the

The continuation of another clip. low-level, fluffy clouds below and at eye-level on Mt Pilatus, and
a cable car is observable late clip, ascending. In the distance, past a green plain and clouded
hillside, the Alps and its numerous peaks. This southwestern view includes views of Schwarzhorn,
Augstmatthorn, and Schrattenfluh in the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch, most peaks dealing with at least
some clouds on their slopes.

… both directions and airplanes taking off in the night sky. A constant flow of traffic pours through
both ways of the Golden Gate Bridge over the bay, which lightly reflects the lights of the bridge
itself. Airplanes, passenger liners are seen taking off and veering to the right throughout in the
sky at upper portion of the frame this cloudless evening. The lights of the radio towers on Twin
Peaks just left of the right pillar on the bridge rise high, a few miles away. The bay appears to be
pouring in water constantly on the top surface.

…Airport, SFO at night under rainy clouds. Continental traveling airplanes are seen landing over the
bay diagonally across the frame. The bright lights of a few are visible among the other city lights,
taxiing for takeoff or to their gates. In the bottom quarter of the frame the water moves, and
reflects the light of the clouds, illuminated in the city’s lighting. The lower stratus clouds bring
rain on the city across the water.
