Changing from day to night on the east flank of Mt Shasta, the clouds rapidly change and darken to
the night. The stars seem to spin around as the Earth rotates and the sky brightens to morning, light
once again on the snow.

Lake Tahoe in the distance is seen through trees as the dusk sets in and the upper-level clouds turn
from pink to being illuminated by city lights. The snowy foreground shadowed; airplanes are seen far
in the sky moving through the frame. Stars come out after blue hour. On the one road visible, traffic
moves quickly, and a ship is seen moving from afar.

playing on the magnetism of the Earth. Mid-level stratus clouds are lit by town lights far away. Long
exposures and low ‘coma’ (comatic aberration).

Mt. June facing west. The sun is not yet visible in the frame, and the clouds begin to turn pinker as

Observing the steep jungle headlands, rain is seen on the glowing cliffs, moving under these glowing
lower-level clouds, fluffy formations of warm moisture. The Napali Coast has ancient, walk-able
trails. Stretching away in shadow now, the foreground is the beach in the lower left. Trees frame the
headlands, also left. At right, the ocean is coming in on gentle fast waves, and ‘altostratus’ move
left to right in the upper-frame space. The horizon is a mix of colors, like saffron-mango, and sand.
The clear sky areas are a Kashmir-blue.
