Bright Cantaloupe highlights in the bright precipitation of these stratus clouds, and Halloween
orange colors on the fading rain at right of the frame. Silhouetted bare ridges in the lower quarter,
under these clouds that darken in as time progresses, the open sky a perfect Mid-blue.

…at dusk on Mt Tamalpais as sunset passes by. Stratocumulus clouds stretch for miles far below the
serene meadow hills with creeping, windblown trees. The open sky is a ‘Hoki’ color, or a dusty-blue,
and the horizon is a mix of Dusky Rose and Pale Oranges that make up the quarter of the frame.
California sage brush, Chaparral, and Oaks are the main types of trees and shrubs shown.

City lights under stars, aircraft flying over. The Big Dipper, the famous constellation, is
observable at the top of the frame. The lower left corner has stratus clouds, but the sky is
otherwise clear. A couple of airplanes can be seen flying through, under a starry night sky with a
long exposure of several seconds and interval of just as much time.

…with rocky hills on meadows, mixed clouds. A rock step, a distant cliff near a hilltop, is evident
left in the background, above green meadows, and other multiple layers of clouds, the shadows
move.

A small mountain formed on tectonic plate accretion that is the coastal range in Oregon, and a
congestus cloud just above shows a nice angle of the cloud from side-on while high up on Mt June’s
meadows, mid-afternoon. The cloud billows and transforms in a warm summer day, and when it suddenly
meets a mass of dry air from the east vaklley side of the mountain, it disintegrates.

Mt June, Oregon. The clouds on the Alpine meadow grasses pass quickly, barely overhead. The viewpoint
shows similar clouds on other forest hills as well.

Low cloud overhead which casts its shadow. Two large hills in the distance of Mt June narrowly under
a cloud cover. The grassy green foreground stretches in brightness intermittently as the shadows move
on the meadow. Patches of blue-sky persist in the mostly cloudy sky.

(left) on these Icelandic farm meadows. Shadows and sunlight on the rain shift as the precipitation
