Looking closely afterward, a distant, single climbing party’s headlights are shown ascending the rugged and impressive slope overnight. Morning comes, a blue hour, and far, far behind some conifers, the snow of the mountain becomes pink momentarily against the rapidly changing sky, until the sky is light blue, and it is day again.
