  • Flying over unique sand dunes and shrublands…

    View with alternate video source

    Scene notes:

Over sand dunes with shrublands on the right. The shadows of the nearby fog, passing on the ocean breeze, float by quickly as it unexpectedly comes in on return. The dunes don’t show a low amount of human impact- but a definite impact, nonetheless. The sky consists of the top seventh of the frame and is a mix of stratus layers under blue sky. The frame pans downward digitally from the sky.
    Time-lapse length (30 fps):
    7 seconds and 15 frames.

  • Light from the sun reflectsoff the ocean onto clouds

    View with alternate video source

    Scene notes:

Where light is reflected off the ocean and lights from beneath the mid-level clouds, it makes these gold colors. A clear view of the sun to the ocean with clouds overhead the observer is not an everyday occurrence where the balance must be ‘just so’.
    Time-lapse length (30 fps):
    18 seconds and 6 frames.

  • Clouds rise over Miami skyline in the afternoon 3 of 3

    View with alternate video source

    Scene notes:

Another similar scene to Day111A, an ocean view looking on the Miami skyline from the east. Groups of taller, late-afternoon clouds, tilting towards their direction of wind, as if italicized and colorful, dwarf the tallest buildings, which are reflected on the calm waters of the bay. A three second interval is used. The clouds’ lighter colors are Fawn to Lime Oak.
    Time-lapse length (30 fps):
    10 seconds and 18 frames.

A three second interval is used.
    Time-lapse length (30 fps):
    16 seconds.
