Similar at a first glance to a creek in long exposures, fog flowing central of frame takes the shapes of running water, while remaining gaseous vapor. The layer that came in from the ocean runs far into the horizon. Even very far away on the horizon, headlands rise slightly above the stratus. Playback length at 30 fps: 25 seconds.

    … above the foggy vista below that shifts on light breeze. Physically panning left far above a Stratocumulus layer below the mostly sterile volcanic landscape at dusk. Many clips of Precipice are like one another, and some share the same scene at different times. All Precipice clips take place on a steep drop-off, even if that drop is out of frame. They all have in common a cloud or fog layer either at below the point of view’s elevation and are at or near sunset.

    …rocky, snowy winter peaks. Symmetrical slopes dominate the frame, with rocks and small boulders among evergreens that lead up to near the very tips of these mountain tops. With light, low rolling clouds pouring over and piling on these steep slopes, jagged, snowy peaks poke out like jigsaw teeth.
