On Mt June, in Oregon, this alpine meadow shows shadows from clouds that are outside the frame moving
towards the camera. A few humans walk past. The shadows move steadily up the hill as low-density,
light clouds in the top four tenth of the frame meander along harmlessly.

Small pines by the hiking trail. The light rays are dominant and clip’s beginning and end. There is a
period of no fog in the middle of playback. The hiking trail passes by the tree at left. The greens
of the trees are vibrant when the fog fades at clip’s end. Lens flare: partially present.

Many clips of Precipice are like one another, and some share the same scene at different times. All
Precipice clips take place on a steep drop-off, even if that drop is out of frame. They all have in
common a cloud or fog layer either at below the point of view’s elevation and are at or near
sunset.
