    Controlled burning ends far below and demonstrates a smoke cloud begins rapidly dissipating among clean air below Cirrus clouds, far in the green farm and forest valleys below.

    Scene notes:

    Lucerne Lake, 6 kilometers below, is the center of the frame’s focus. A snowy slope, and a sheer cliff ridge below Pilatus’ peak extends into a third of the frame. The surrounding lakeside far below is finely cultivated greenery and forest area. The outskirts of Lucerne’s municipalities are also visible below, as are the clouds which will have no chance of climbing the mountain’s top surface and extend as small formations to the tops of the foothills and snowy peaks far beyond to the southeast.

    Scene notes:

    … by bridges in the downtown with land water traffic. Historic Zurich, many types of public transport are displayed, and high foot traffic is displayed across the river on the street which spans much of the frame. Many buildings amongst European alders and elms are displayed. Recently, a Swiss study has indicated more trees in cities would save thousands of lives in future heat waves.     The buildings average five stories and have pale pastels as exterior hues. The sky is full of late-day mid-level clouds.

    Scene notes:

    The cloud approaches darkening the valley landscape below. An incoming Nimbus cloud blocks the light, rain can be seen in the distance, precipitating. The cloud takes up the whole of the sky.

    In the mid-morning with clouds above and cliffs all forward. The continuation of a Night clip. The exposure has been adjusted for the daytime. The high Cirrus clouds are tending to clear, as well as the smoke in the window of the canyon beyond where impassable red rock cliffs, scree and degraded side slopes, and colluvium boulder fields dominate the land below.

    A bright marine fog layer slowly evaporates around the Golden Gate Bridge, a small ship is seen exiting as the fog recedes. The Marin Headlights are exposed to day in the middle ground between this point of view and the bay.
